CCV has completed the first set of commercial software RPMs and is looking for users to help test these packages.

tuxThe RPMs are intended for i386/x86_64 RHEL 5 based systems (e.g. CentOS 5.3) and are available through CCV's yum repository. The current list of packages includes:

- Maple 13 (requires Flexlm update by CIS)
- Mathematica 7.0.1
- Matlab 2008b
- Nag C/Fortran Libraries (16 libraries + docs)
- Nag Iris Explorer 5.2
- Nag Fortran Tools 4.1
- Nag Fortran Compiler 5.2
- PGI Compiler 8
- SPlus 8.04

The RPM format allows a convenient method for installation in lieu of each vendor's own install scripts and will provide an easier way to manage updates as they become available. The project documentation and instructions are located on the Brown wiki.
