Watercoolers Announced
TCASCV will be hosting monthly meetings of faculty, staff and students from all disciplines to discuss their high-performance computational work and its relationship to research and to instruction. We hope this would be a 'scientific watercooler' event, where people would informally discuss their investigations and the use of HPC as an essential tool in their work. A 'cross-fertilization' of ideas and techniques would be an outstanding outcome of these events.
TCASCV will host an organizational meeting to give an overview of their resources, set meeting schedules and collect input from all about the overall flavor of these meetings. If your research and/or instructional interests include high-performance computing and/or visualization techniques, please try to attend and give your input for this ongoing series of informal discussions.
The organizational meeting will be at
