Fishtanks

Fishtanks are regular Linux workstations with stereo-capable graphics cards (Wildcat 6210). They are currently being configured by CCV staff.

CrystalEyes LCS shutter glasses can be used for stereo viewing. The IBM P202 monitors are capable of renedering stereo at 1024x768@120Hz. Some ghosting artefacts have been observed in the past on both the IBM and ViewSonic monitors.

The Intersense constellation for the powerwall spans the fishtank area, so the Intersense wand and head trackers can be used for positional input. Ascension Flock of Birds system appears to have severe magentic interference in that region.
